Friday 7th June 2002
From 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM : arrival and check-in at Grand Hotel Eden of guests entitled to full board hospitality. Registration of all the participants, and badges distribution at the Banking Solutions Forum reception desk. |

Conferences program : 11.00 AM - 12.15 PM
Opening conference - Welcome drink on the Hotel lake deck, flowers offered to all the ladies. Lunch in the Hotel Restaurant : 12.45 PM - 2.00 PM

Ladies Program : 2.15 PM - 5.30 PM
The private boat docks directly at Hotel Eden at 2.15 PM for the guest ladies exclusive cruise. Indicative journey : Castagnola - Campione - Brusino Arsizio - Melide - Morcote and return. A special guide will be available for the group and will comment the artistic and natural beauties during the cruise, the stops and the visits. Cocktail at the hotel : 7.00 PM.
Gala evening
7.30 PM - The Special Boat reserved for BSFL 2002 guests docks at Paradiso, to cruise on the lake up to the Restaurant booked for dinner, music and entertainment. Return free or with special buses at 11.30 PM and 00.30 AM.

Ladies Program
From 9.30 AM. Special Bus with guide and short trip to Carona, the village of artists and churches. Carona (602 meters sl) is an old village, built by well known artists, lying between Monte San Salvatore (912 sl) and Monte Arbostora (822 sl). It counts about 600 inhabitants. Many of the Duomo di Milano engineers and stonecutters are well known as first Carona artists gaining international fame. Marco di Carona was their chief, beginning in 1389 and has also been working in the Certosa di Pavia (1396). Also the Solari family was very famous and some of its members worked in numerous Venice buildings. Some Carona churches are beautiful, five of them are remarkable: Chiesa Parrocchiale San Giorgio, Madonna d'Ongero, Oratorio Santa Maria, Chiesa and Convento di Santa Maria di Torello, Cappella della Madonna delle Grazie.
Part of the "artistic walk" will be visited. There will also be a visit of the San Grato botanic park. Anybody who admired the beauty of 60.000 sqm of flowering azaleas and rhododendrons comes back. A small paradise to visit and to enjoy!
12.00 AM - 1.30 PM. Lunch at Ristorante "San Grato". A breathtaking panoramic view from a green spot in the botanic park.
After lunch a visit of Vico Morcote will be possible. Coming back to Lugano, some downtown shopping will be possible. "Art lovers" will have the opportunity to see the sculptures of the Modern Art Lugano Museum as well as the Castagnola Extraeuropean cultures museum. |
