The industry of production, transportation
and fruition of digital contents (sound, video, entertainment,
information, education, training, etc.) is now mature to be
a promising and profitable business.

The business model of production and distribution of sounds
and images has switched from the “PUSH” model (offer
of physical supports, by the Majors of production and distribution)
to the “PULL” model (demand of download of billions
of web surfers). This evolution is bringing a Copernican revolution
of both, the entrepreneurial actors and their strategies.
• In this context, there are very favourable opportunities
for creative SMEs, quick and flexible, participating themselves
in the creation of the new business models, to then be the first
ones to exploit them. The totality of this new Value Chain is
also highly interesting for Venture Capital companies and Private
Equity funds, looking for a high added value diversification.
The guest of honour of the event will be Dr Leonardo Chiariglione

one of the fathers of MP3 standard, convenor of the World MPEG
Group, strategist of the digital world and initiator of several
current projects of very high level.
Dr Chiariglione will also select and invite some entrepreneurs
his clients, as concrete case histories and success stories.
During the afternoon, one or more in-deep discussion table will
be held, to develop some concrete topics and to allow the participants,
to explore the operational components of the concerned business
models.
